We recognise that we live and work in territories of the Wyandot, Haudenosaunee, and Michi Saugig Nations, and we are profoundly grateful to them and other indigenous peoples who have cared for this land from time immemorial.
As beneficiaries of a violent history of colonisation, we acknowledge our responsibility to uphold treaty relationships and so seek to be guided by Indigenous truth-tellers toward restitution, restoration, and reconciliation.
