In Canada, nearly 90 per cent of single-use plastics end up in landfills, incinerators, lakes, parks and oceans.

So as one step toward better care of our environment, effective Feb 1 we will no longer offer single-use plastic shopping bags.

We encourage you to bring re-usable bags.

We offer the following shopping bags:

  • Durable and washable cloth grocery bags, custom-made at an immigrant women’s organisation. $6.95
  • Re-usable and compostable -- no longer available.
