Our regulars swear by the Martin family’s fabulous fresh turkeys in sizes ranging from 11 - 29 pounds. Paul Martin, who has been supplying our holiday turkeys for two decades, ensures flavourful birds by feeding them a special mixture blended at a local mill which includes flax — a “secret” ingredient that he says makes the meat especially tender and delicious — but none of the stuff you don’t want in turkey feed, like bone meal, antibiotics or animal byproducts. The turkeys are raised in an open-sided barn.
