Char from the Canadian Arctic

The Inuit Fishermen of Qikiqtarjuaq are proud to share with us their traditional winter harvest of wild caught Arctic Char from the lakes of Baffin Island mountains. They travel hundreds of kilometres each trip, harvesting through up to eight feet of ice. Read more here about the fishermen and the non-profit social enterprise that brings the fish to Toronto.
